Product designer, systems thinker and curious problem solver
I'm Cloe
I’m a Product Designer driven by curiosity, systems thinking and a healthy obsession with understanding the “why”.
I’m drawn to solving problems that sit between user behaviour, business needs and technical constraints. My work is about finding the structure underneath, helping teams make better decisions and shaping experiences people can trust and adopt.
Before product design, I studied science, completed a research thesis and worked in higher education. That path shaped how I think: asking better questions, spotting patterns and using evidence to move from uncertainty to direction.
Today, I bring that same mindset to product design: balancing curiosity with judgement, and turning messy problems into considered product decisions.
How I'm using AI in my practice
I'm actively exploring how AI can strengthen product design by making ideas more tangible, collaborative and connected to delivery. The value is not in replacing design judgement, but in creating more space for it: asking better questions, pressure-testing direction earlier and helping teams see the implications of decisions sooner.
I use tools like Claude, Claude Code and Figma MCP to move from design intent to working concepts earlier, especially when the fastest way to learn is to make the idea tangible. This helps product, design and engineering evaluate trade-offs before ideas become too fixed.
As execution gets faster, I believe the designer's role becomes more important, not less: framing the right problem, applying judgement, understanding users and knowing what good looks like.
